Job summary

Bluebird Care Swale is seeking a caring Care Assistant to support customers at home in Swale. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred care, work as part of a supportive team and benefit from induction and ongoing training.

Roles include personal care, meal support, medication assistance, light domestic duties, and flexible shifts from Thursday to Sunday. A full UK driving licence is required. DBS checks and references are part of recruitment.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Kind, compassionate attitude with a calm approach to care.
• Great communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s needs.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Help with meal preparation, nutrition and hydration.
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework, including tidying, laundry and cleaning.
• Be a dependable, friendly and familiar face for customers.
• Flexible morning and evening shifts available Thursday to Sunday.
• Morning shifts 7:00–14:00; evening shifts 16:00–22:00.
• Full induction and ongoing expert training.
• Uniform and PPE provided.
• Regular support and ongoing career development.
