Job summary

Exemplar Health Care is seeking a Health Care Assistant at Wytham Lodge care home in Burnley. You will support adults with complex care needs to live their best lives in a brand-new, state-of-the-art home.

This role offers various shifts (8am-8pm, 8pm-8am, 9am-5.30pm, 8pm-2am, 6pm-12am) and a rate of £12.81 upon completion of the exemplar care certificate. You’ll be part of a supportive team with opportunities for development and DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• support people with their personal care
• assist people at meal times
• understand individual health and wellbeing needs
• encourage and support people to take part in social activities, both in and out of the home
• promote choice, dignity, independence and respect
• complete and maintain care records
