Job summary

Helping Hands in Accrington is hiring a Care Assistant on a Flexible schedule to support clients in their own homes. You’ll provide companionship, personal care, mobility assistance, and household support, with training provided.

No prior care experience is required; we value kindness, reliability and a genuine willingness to help others. Benefits include mileage reimbursements, early pay app, and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Kindness, reliability and a genuine desire to help others. You don’t need prior care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility needs to help customers stay safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands, from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
• Offer calm, considerate support that makes customers feel cared for.
