Job summary

Abacare, part of the UK’s largest care company, is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant for Port Talbot (Swansea area). Pay rate £13.45 per hour (£13.65 weekends) plus mileage. Flexible hours available, including part-time and full-time roles, with paid travel time and guaranteed hours.

Applicants must have the Right to Work in the UK; sponsorship is not offered. Bicycles are welcome via our cycle-to-work scheme, and local rotas support community-based work without a car.

Qualifications

• Proficient in effective communication across all levels.
• Demonstrates a sincere interest in working with our client group.
• Successfully passed DBS screening.
• Patience, compassion and a positive attitude at all times.
• Demonstrate eagerness to engage in vocational training programs and develop skills.

Responsibilities
