Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle is seeking a caring Care Assistant for our luxury care and nursing home in Weybridge. You will support residents with daily activities, promoting comfort and independence, and helping them stay engaged with favourite activities.

No experience required, but strong communication skills and IT aptitude are helpful. An NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is a big advantage, with training and development opportunities provided.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is a big advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with washing, dressing, eating, drinking and mobility.
• Help residents make their apartments feel like home.
• Engage residents in activities such as bingo, shopping and live music.
• Develop and follow Care Plans, aware of specialist support needs.
• Be respectful of residents' choices, dignity and independence.
