Job summary

London Care Limited is seeking Care Assistants to provide person-centred home care, following individual care plans to help clients live safer, happier and more independent lives at home.

You’ll perform personal care, assist with meals, medication, appointments and community access, while offering companionship and monitoring wellbeing. No prior care experience is required as full training is provided, with opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• No previous social care experience required; full training and ongoing support provided.
• Compassion, reliability and caring attitude are valued
• Must be available some evenings/weekends or both
• Good communication and listening skills are important
• Regular availability and flexibility are essential
• Right to work in the UK is required

Responsibilities

• Provide dignified personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, continence care)
• Support clients with medication as needed
• Prepare meals and assist at mealtimes
• Help with shopping and light household tasks
• Accompany clients to appointments and in the community
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Monitor wellbeing and report changes
• Maintain accurate care records
• Collaborate with families, colleagues and healthcare professionals
