Dovehaven Care Homes is hiring a Care Assistant to join Argyle Park Care Home in Southport. This onsite role offers flexible day or night shifts to suit different lifestyles, with full induction and ongoing support to help you succeed.

You will provide compassionate personal care, promote residents’ independence, and help create a safe, welcoming environment. Training and DBS checks are part of the process, with 28 days leave pro rata and paid DBS considered.

Qualifications

• Caring, compassionate and dependable personality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently, including night shifts.
• Willingness to learn and complete training.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care with dignity and respect.
• Support emotional wellbeing of residents.
• Encourage independence and daily living activities.
• Assist with light cleaning during night shifts.
• Follow care plans and report concerns.
