Job summary

Care Dorset Limited is recruiting a Care Assistant to support adults in residential settings with personal care and daily living tasks. You will maintain dignity, assist with transfers and domestic duties, and ensure accurate client records.

The role emphasises safety, infection control, and adherence to the Gold Standards Framework, with opportunities for ongoing training and development. Generous leave and enhanced sick pay are among the benefits on offer.

Responsibilities

• Undertake personal care duties such as toileting, washing and manual handling (including hoisting) and transfers.
• Undertake domestic tasks, such as cleaning and laundry.
• Support the relevant client group in a way that maintains dignity and privacy.
• Participate in the maintenance of essential record keeping, through brief written recording on individual client records.
• Comply with Health and Safety requirements in respect of manual handling and transfer hoisting and the use of protective equipment to aid infection control.
• Work within the Gold Standards Framework.
