Job summary

Amica Care invites compassionate individuals to join our brand-new Greenland's Meadow care home in Taunton. As a Care Assistant (Days), you will support residents with daily routines, promote independence, dignity and wellbeing, and contribute to creating a warm, welcoming home for our first residents.

We value reliability, kind communication and teamwork. Previous care experience is welcome, but a caring attitude and willingness to learn are most important. Various shifts include weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Getting to know residents as individuals and supporting them with personal needs.
• Helping residents with day-to-day activities while promoting independence and wellbeing.
• Building warm relationships with residents, families, colleagues and visiting professionals.
• Noticing changes and sharing concerns with the team to ensure appropriate support.
• Keeping clear care records and communicating effectively for consistent care.
• Working safely and following safeguarding, infection prevention, confidentiality and wellbeing guidelines.
• Be part of a friendly team and help create a welcoming home environment.
