Job summary

Care First UK Recruitment Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a residential care home in the Torquay area of Devon for Care Assistants. You will provide high-quality, person-centred support to residents, helping them maintain independence, dignity and quality of life.

The role covers 36 hours per week across day and night shifts, with pay of £13.50 per hour and paid breaks. The home supports adults with a range of needs, including physical, neurological and complex care requirements.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, reliable and person-centred individuals required.
• Willingness to support adults with complex needs.
• Good communication and teamwork essential.
• Relevant care qualifications preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to residents to maintain independence and dignity.
• Assist with daily living activities and monitoring health needs.
• Work across day and night shifts as required.
• Record observations and report changes to seniors.
