Job summary

Burnview Healthcare is recruiting Bank Care Assistants to deliver high standards of care and support to residents in a person-centred, compassionate and respectful manner. The role promotes dignity, independence and quality of life in line with each resident's care plan.

As a bank Care Assistant you will work within a family-run group of care homes in Northern Ireland, with training provided online and in person, and access to an Employee Assistance Programme.

Qualifications

• Right to live and work in the UK.
• Good standard of education.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic record-keeping skills.
• Satisfactory Enhanced Access NI check.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily personal hygiene, mobility, continence care, and feeding as required.
• Provide companionship and encourage participation in activities, maintaining dignity and autonomy.
• Observe, record, and report changes in residents' condition to senior staff; ensure confidentiality and data protection.
