Job summary

Prospero Teaching in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated tutor in Wigan to support vulnerable, disengaged and at-risk young people. You will create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in KS3 or KS4 education and help boost engagement and attainment.

The role involves working within the community or pupils' home on a part-time, temporary contract with flexible hours to suit families. QTS or tutoring experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent or tutoring experience.
• UK classroom teaching experience preferred but not essential.
• Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box.
• Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils.

Responsibilities

• Create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in KS3 or KS4 education.
• Deliver in a one-on-one or small-group setting to boost engagement.
