About the role:
Reporting to the Rearing Operations Manager, this role will be accountable for
providing effective administration support across our Agriculture and Consumer
Foods business providing a link between Management, Agriculture and Finance
teams and managing a range of external stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities of the role – What I do IT
(The below is not exhaustive)
• Administrative work for the Rearing Operations Manager to include:
• Collation of information, preparing master information and communicating
with our producer base, management team and farms team as required.
• Ad hoc admin tasks or project work for the Rearing Operations Manager
• Creation and distribution of weekly/monthly reports to the relevant
Management teams.
• Assist with any queries that come in from a range of stakeholders including
hauliers, catching teams and management.
• Coordinate appropriate contractors for pullet movements
• Booking of contractors to administer vaccines
• Raise any requested invoices for company properties
• Gas orders for tenants in company properties
• Create Health & Welfare plans for flocks, both rearing and company laying
farms
• Create record cards prior to the new flock starting, both rearing and company
laying farms
• Order all salmonella testing and vaccine administration consumables and
monitor stock levels
• Raise invoices for pullets sold
• Raise orders for vaccine
• Completion of Laying Hen Passports and distribution to the customer
• Maintain electronic filing system.
• Order sundry items e.g. overalls, farm stamps and kits when required.
• Process Purchase Orders and payments.
