Driver:Responsible for ensuring the timely delivery and collection of goods to predetermined customers and sites on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks, and providing exceptional customer service. Ensures Health and Safety is paramount in all aspects of the driving role and that all legal requirements are adhered to.

Warehouse Operative:Responsible for warehouse duties including picking, packing, stock management, and ensuring Health and Safety is paramount in all warehouse related activities.

Major Tasks:

Warehouse Duties:

• Pulls warehouse items from the shelves based on number, size, quantity, and quality requirements.
• Ensures that stock, warehouse picks and transfers are accurate to the amount requested.
• When required – performs stock replenishment activities.
• Ensures workplace blueprint is maintained (Housekeeping).
• Operates handling equipment and ensures safety regulations are followed.

Health and Safety:

• Ensures that any damages to stock, equipment, and/or vehicles have been reported to a member of management at the time of the incident or as soon as possible.
• Maintains a high level of health and safety standards (Loading/unloading).
• Abides by the company guidelines with regards to correct PPE worn.

Loading and Delivery:

• Shrink wraps products to pallets, ensuring any load prior to transport is secured, preventing falls/damage (Securing the load).
• Completes daily checks on the vehicle prior to use.
• Maintenance on vehicles used, i.e., clean cabin area, screen wash top-up, etc.
• Professional Conduct and Communication:
• Remains professional at all times.
• Keeps clear communication avenues with the depot manager.

Other Duties:

• Performs other general duties as reasonably requested by management to fulfil company objectives.
• Full clean driving license is essential

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
