The firm is committed to delivering high-quality advice and building strong client relationships, ensuring businesses receive commercially sound legal solutions tailored to their needs.

Position Overview:
My client is seeking an experienced Company Commercial Solicitor to manage client matters successfully, ensuring commercial objectives and financial expectations are met. The role requires strong commercial acumen, high-level expertise in commercial law, and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will handle a diverse caseload of complex commercial transactions and agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Draft standard terms for sales to consumers.
  2. Draft and negotiate a wide range of business-to-business contracts.
  3. Prepare and review terms of sale, distribution, and agency contracts.
  4. Advise on internal structuring, including shareholders’ agreements, articles of association, and share classes.
  5. Act on business asset and share purchases, as well as other company disposals.
  6. Assist with company formations and start-up advice.
  7. Provide data protection compliance advice, including desktop audits and urgent matters.
  8. Draft and advise on non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements.
  9. Draft and prepare security documents, including debentures and legal charges.
  10. Keep legal knowledge up to date to ensure compliance with the latest developments in commercial law.

Requirements:
Essential:
  1. Minimum of 3 years PQE in commercial law with proven experience.
  2. Strong client care skills, with a commitment to excellent service.
  3. Self-motivated and able to add value to the role.
  4. Ability to operate with minimal supervision.
  5. Strong networking and business development skills.
