Job summary

A rapidly growing bespoke furniture manufacturer is seeking an Experienced Bookkeeper to manage finance operations in Hitchin. This full-time role demands QuickBooks expertise and entails a range of responsibilities, from ledgers and VAT returns to payroll. Job description

Our client provides the best quality bespoke furniture for customers. Due to company growth, they are now looking to hire an Experienced Bookkeeper.

This full time position working for a Bespoke Furniture manufacturer is based in Hitchin and it would best suit a Bookkeeper with QuickBooks experience.

Duties will include:

  • Sales and purchase ledgers

  • Vat returns

  • Bank reconciliations

  • Processing payments

  • Producing management reports and information

  • Payroll

  • Cis deductions

  • Administration of company insurance policies


Skills required:

  • 2 – 3 years experience

  • Outstanding attention to detail

  • Extremely well organised and thorough

  • Accurate data entry skills

  • Be able to manage and prioritise workload
