A leading manufacturing company in Hove is seeking an experienced Company Accountant to join their team. This role involves managing the finance function, preparing management accounts, leading budgeting cycles, and providing strategic financial advice. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with significant experience in commercial finance and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Location: Hove (until late 2026 when office relocates to North of Worthing area). The post requires regular (monthly or thereabouts) visits to the factory at Stone, Staffs.
Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
Salary: Up to £65k, depending on experience
Holiday: 33 days inclusive of BH

This is a significant opportunity for an experienced & commercially astute Company Accountant to join a small team in the companys Hove office (remote from the manufacturing site). The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Finance Manager position in a commercial or manufacturing environment, and will be someone who, in the near future, would be looking to take the next steps to FD level.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will play a key role in leading the finance function, together with month-end reporting, budgeting processes, and financial insight - partnering with stakeholders across the business and helping to shape the next stage of our growth. This role will suit a hands-on Company Accountant who is looking for their next long-term challenge.
