About the company

A thriving local company based in the Coleraine area are seeking a Company Accountant to join their team, overseeing the day-to-day running of the finance function, working closely with the Managing Director. A well-rounded role where the successful candidate will be heavily involved in strategic decision making, driving growth and shaping the future of this established business.

Key responsibilities
  • Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of budgets/forecasts
  • Lead and develop a small finance team
  • Completion of statutory returns
  • Preparation of year-end accounts and liaising with auditors
  • KPI analysis
  • Liaise with external stakeholders
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or Qualified by Experience with experience in a similar role
  • Strong IT skills
  • Strong communicator
  • Ability to manage a small team
  • Commercial mindset
