Job summary

Self Direct Support Options Fife in Glenrothes is seeking a patient and reliable personal assistant to support a 76-year-old man who has had a stroke and has limited speech. You will provide companionship, help with hobbies like writing and drawing, and accompany him on activities and outings, with light domestic tasks as needed.

The role runs to a 36 hours per month two-week rota (Thursday shifts) and requires flexibility, a caring attitude, and a PVG check.

Qualifications

• Experience in care field and/or stroke patient care preferred.
• PVG check required.
• Minimal personal care may be needed.
• Caring attitude and good sense of humour essential.
