As a young company, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional coffee experiences. We are looking to expand our brand and reach new heights in the specialty coffee industry.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Manager to join the leadership team for our latest branch in Central London. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of specialty coffee and the running of cafe’s, combined with exceptional team management and stock management skills. The Manager will play a critical role in not only maintaining our high standards but also in driving the growth and expansion of Compane to potential new sites.

Responsibilities:
  • Specialty standard Barista.
  • Help to manage the broader day-to-day operations, specifically at our Camden Passage location but also working alongside the manager in our Piccadilly store.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
  • Train and mentor staff, upholding standards in specialty coffee techniques and customer service.
  • Oversee stock levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Help to create and maintain the rota, plus manage staff hour requirements.
  • Implement strategies to enhance profitability and efficiency..
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Represent Compane at industry events and engage with the wider coffee community.
  • Understanding and adhering to the broader concepts of Compane, as set by the founders.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a barista and café manager, with a focus on specialty coffee.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in managing diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of stock management, financial reporting, and budgeting.
  • Ability to work flexibly and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A passion for coffee and a drive to grow and expand a young brand.
