Job summary

The Highland Council is seeking a Community Work Operative (LGV) to assist in road maintenance activities to a high standard. This permanent position offers an opportunity to contribute to community infrastructure, with required qualifications including a driving licence for LGV. Training may be available for suitable candidates without the licence.

  • Attributes in road maintenance considered for applicants without LGV licence.

Location: Tain Depot
Hours: 37 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £26,224 - £28, 725 p.a.
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Requirements

Possession of driving licence for LGV, Category C and C + E. However if an
applicant has other attributes to offer to the Council in relation to road
maintenance then training may be given to assist the applicant to gain his
LGV licence.
