The position involves a Monday to Friday shift pattern, totaling 37 hours per week.
We are seeking a Band 7 Community Vascular Specialist Nurse to join our community nursing team supporting the 6 HSCPs of GG&C. The role involves caring for vascular patients in their homes and clinics. The ideal candidate will have vascular experience, community nursing experience is advantageous. You will support teams like District Nursing and CTAC, ensuring safe and effective patient care. Demonstrating leadership and acting as a role model in community settings is essential. Experience in training large groups of staff is desirable. You must be a Registered Nurse on the NMC register with relevant vascular care experience and ongoing professional development.
A Degree or equivalent qualification is essential. Opportunities for development are available, and support will be provided to expand your skills. The role requires PVG Scheme Membership. Evidence of current NMC registration must be provided before the start date, as part of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde's pre-employment checks. Candidates unable to provide this may not be shortlisted.
