Position Details

The shift pattern for this position is Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.

Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Band 7 Community Vascular Specialist Nurse to join our community nursing team covering the 6 HSCPs of GG&C. This role involves providing care to vascular patients both at home and in clinics. We are looking for an experienced nurse with relevant vascular experience; community nursing experience is advantageous. The successful candidate will support community nursing teams, such as District Nursing and CTAC, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and timely care. The role requires demonstrating expert leadership skills, acting as a role model, and training large groups of staff, so evidence of experience in training is desirable.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Registered Nurse on the NMC register
  • Relevant clinical experience in vascular care with evidence of continued professional development
  • Degree or equivalent qualification is essential
  • PVG Scheme Membership is required

Evidence of current NMC registration will be required prior to the start date. Candidates unable to provide this may not be shortlisted.
