Position Details

THIS POST IS SUITABLE FOR NEWLY QUALIFIED NURSES

We are seeking an enthusiastic nurse to meet the requirements of the CTAC & Vaccination Staff Nurse role, as detailed in the job description. The post involves working within the community treatment, care, and vaccination teams in Cowal.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver nursing care in accordance with the new GP contract terms.
  • Collaborate with GP Practices, Community Nursing teams, and other AHPs to provide high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Manage time effectively, demonstrate adaptability, and provide holistic care for a diverse patient population.
Desirable Skills and Experience

Experience in wound care, phlebotomy, ear irrigation, cervical cytology, vaccinations, and diagnostics such as ECG/ABPM is preferred, but training will be provided to suitable candidates.

Qualifications

You must be a nurse registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and have skills and experience working in a community setting, delivering high standards of care, and working within a multi-professional team. Flexibility, excellent communication skills, adaptability to change, and evidence of personal development are essential.
