The Opportunity

We are offering a fixed-term position for a Community Transport Co-ordinator. The scheme provides social car services and minibus hire to residents, community groups, and schools, facilitating transport for health and social appointments, shopping, and community activities.

The role involves coordinating transportation needs to enhance residents' well-being and quality of life, primarily through office-based work and client liaison via telephone.

Experience & Skills
  • Excellent communication skills, sensitive to vulnerable clients
  • Organizational skills for workload management and scheduling
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and legal compliance for community transport
  • Computer literacy and training on the flexi route booking system
