Transport Co-ordinator
Location: Braintree
Contract Type: Temporary, Full-Time (until 31st March 2026)
Hourly Rate: £13.50 - £15.00

Are you someone who thrives on making a difference and staying organised in a fast-paced environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Transport Co-ordinator!

What You'll Be Doing:
In this hands-on role, you'll be part of a dedicated transport team working to improve accessibility across our community. You'll help ensure that individuals can rely on safe, efficient, and well-managed transportation services.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and manage daily schedules for volunteer and paid drivers while ensuring compliance with transport regulations.
Coordinate the deployment of our minibus fleet to meet diverse community needs.
Monitor fleet maintenance schedules and uphold legal standards for Community Transport.
Organise MiDAS training and refresher courses for volunteer drivers.
Cultivate strong relationships with volunteer drivers to ensure engagement and cooperation.
Handle enquiries from the public and healthcare professionals via phone, email, and in-person.
Oversee vital administrative duties including tracking licences, MOTs, and tax renewals for volunteer drivers.What We're Looking For:

Outstanding communication skills across various audiences.
Demonstrated experience in workload planning and time management-highly desirable!
A solution-oriented mindset with creative problem-solving abilities.
Solid computer literacy.
