The First Responder Department is recruiting a qualified trainer and assessor at level three or higher to support the development of volunteer Community First Responders. In this vital role, you will lead the delivery of the FutureQuals Level Three Award for the First Responder on Scene: Ambulance Service Community Responder course.
The role will involve the Community Training Coordinator completing administrative tasks and delivering the qualifications. The Community Training Coordinator should have significant experience and competence in delivering regulated FutureQuals training and be able to travel across London to deliver the courses.
- Deliver initial and ongoing training for Volunteer Community First Responders.
- Support the professional development of Volunteer Community First Responders.
- Maintain your own professional development as a trainer by staying current with best practices and clinical skills.
- Ensure accurate record keeping for the London Ambulance Service and FutureQuals documentation.
- Perform all administrative tasks related to the course, ensuring that all courses are registered and resources are prepared before any course begins.
- Deliver high quality training.
- Maintain appropriate records in accordance with trust, awarding organisation, and legal requirements.
- Be competent in using visual display equipment and processing software, including Microsoft Office.
- Able to travel pan-London, which includes delivering training at Brentside and Dockside Education Centres.
- Champion best practices, align with the trust’s values and behaviours, and actively promote a diverse and inclusive Community First Responder scheme that reflects London communities.
