Job summary

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a candidate for an AHP Band 3 or equivalent therapy role with extensive community and NHS experience. The role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong documentation practices, and reliable time management.

Candidates should have a Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care or Level 3 qualification, with a Level 3 Apprenticeship or Health and Science T-Level as acceptable alternatives.

Qualifications

• English and Mathematics at key skills level 2 or equivalent.
• Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care OR Equivalent Level 3 Qualification OR Level 3 Apprenticeship in relevant clinical care. OR Health and Science T-Level AND Equivalent knowledge and experience in a range of clinical care duties equivalent to Level 3
• Substantial previous experience as an AHP Band 3 or equivalent therapy in Social Care
• Experience of working in the community setting (Desirable)
• Experience of working in an NHS role (Desirable)
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and active listening skills.
• Basic IT skills to use electronic patient records and other Trust systems.
• Time-keeping, planning and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to adopt appropriate styles and methods of communication.
• Analytical and judgement skills to make decisions based on patient / service user interactions.
• Understanding of the importance of robust, accurate, clear, timely documentation.
