Join a leading healthcare provider as a Community Team Manager in Adult Mental Health. Are you an enthusiastic and flexible individual with strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills? If so, you might be ideal for our Community Mental Health Team Manager, working within the Community Mental Health Team based at Ystradgynlais.
The Team Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the team, in partnership with clinical and admin leads and the Service Manager. We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering excellent mental health services and can support team members to achieve their potential. Key responsibilities will include staff supervision, appraisal, recruitment and day to day management. Also ensuring that people have timely access to our services and receive treatment in line with our pathways. You will promote person - centred care with a recovery focus, wherever possible.
The post holder will be part of the PTHB Mental Health Manager's On-Call Rota, which is a 12-hour on-call period approximately 15 times a year
This will be an opportunity to manage an enthusiastic, evidence-based team striving for excellence in working with colleagues who are passionate about promoting positive mental health within the community.
The working hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, though this may change depending on the needs of the service.

The post holder will be responsible for the continued development of the CMHT and will ensure service delivery is of a high professional standard, in line with Health Board policies and procedures.
