The Exciting Role
Lancashire Adult Learning are looking for a talented and student focused Community Teacher in to join their enthusiastic Health and Social Care team on a fixed term part-time basis. The role will involve teaching on our Residential Childcare Services and Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) programmes, as well as other health and social care related programmes both at our adult venue at the Waterside Centre and at venues across Lancashire. You may also manage a caseload of online learners accessing the learning and assessment remotely via our online platform.
Delivering various courses to adult learners, the ideal candidate will focus on embracing the College ethos that every learner will achieve their full potential and positively represent the College both internally and externally at all times. Programmes are aimed at individuals aiming to progress into the Health and Care sector or prepare them for further and higher education towards employment in a range of pathways.
This role will be based at our sites in Accrington (Accrington & Rossendale College and The Waterside Centre) however, travel across Lancashire may be required.
