Based at our service Rosegarth - Wiggington YO32 2PS
Salary: £12 per hour + £1 per hour extra on weekends and Bank Holidays
Hours: Flexible working hours available
Here is your opportunity to start a career in support work. No prior experience in care or support roles is required, as we provide full induction, specialist training, and coaching. Experienced carers and support workers from other care settings are also welcome, allowing you to leverage transferable skills.
Working in brain injury support differs from other types of support work. You will encourage and guide individuals, helping them develop skills and confidence for independent living. You will share their journey as they overcome hurdles, achieve milestones, and reach personal goals.
Brainkind is a charity dedicated to improving the lives of people with brain injuries in the UK. Our centres, rehabilitation units, and hospitals employ expert neurorehabilitation to support recovery and personal goal achievement. We treat a range of brain injuries caused by trauma, illness, substance abuse, and more.

The job is diverse, involving activities such as supporting choir practice, assisting a service user with songwriting and recording, and helping a service user in a brass band.
