Are you a caring, reliable, and positive person looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference? We are seeking Community Support Workers to join our friendly team within the South Ribble Adult Disability Domiciliary Service, supporting adults with disabilities across the community. In this rewarding role, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to adults with disabilities, promoting dignity, independence, and inclusion.
You will support individuals to achieve their personal goals and outcomes, participate in their local communities, and live fulfilling lives. Working across a variety of settings, including community venues and people's homes, you'll deliver safe, flexible, and responsive support tailored to individual needs, while championing equality, diversity, and choice. You do not need previous experience in Health and Social Care to apply. We are looking for individuals with a caring nature, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to help others. Full training will be provided, along with opportunities to gain recognised qualifications and develop a fulfilling career in social care. If you are passionate about supporting others and want to be part of a team that changes lives for the better, we'd love to hear from you.
Experience working with adults with learning disabilities is desirable but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided. If you do not already hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification, you will be supported to complete a fully funded Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care within your first two years of employment, where applicable.
Passion - We want to recruit people with a passion to make a positive difference to people's lives, by providing much needed support like it's second nature. Bringing comfort with a warm smile and a cup of tea, you will provide people with personal care, household chores, finances, medication and anything else they require in their day-to-day life. You will be changing people's lives and breaking down those barriers that they face on a daily basis.
Empathy & Resilience - You will understand the challenges the people we support deal with, which means an empathic nature is of upmost importance. It is essential that you are able to communicate clearly and effectively with every individual providing reassurance and positivity.
