Job summary

Westmorland and Furness Council in Furness is hiring a Community Support Worker for the Support at Home service. The role covers personal care, medication assistance, meal prep and helping clients regain daily routines in their own homes.

Shifts run daily year-round, 7:30am–9:30pm on a fixed fortnightly rota including weekends and bank holidays. Enhanced DBS with Adults Barred List, driving licence and access to a motorised vehicle are required.

This Community Support Worker post sits in the Support at Home service run by Westmorland and Furness Council in Furness. The work centres on personal care, medication, meal preparation and helping people regain daily routines and independence in their own homes. The service runs every day of the year, with shifts from 7:30am to 9:30pm on a fixed fortnightly rota that includes weekends and bank holidays.
