Package Description:

We have a rewarding opportunity to forfour Positive Behaviour Support Workers (PBS)to join our new and expanding service supporting children, young people with autism and learning disabilities. This role would be supporting families across Manchester.
Working therapeutically within a person-centred PBS model the role will focus on enabling young people to access education, community activities and enabling families to have a better quality of life.
The service is based inWythenshawe, Manchester however you will work across Manchester supporting several families.
Starting salary is £24,700 per annum (£12.67ph) based on working 37.5 hours per week.
Weekend shifts paid at 25% extra per hour
As a specialist service there is a comprehensive package of training and support either internally within the Trust’s Learning & Development Team or externally with our professionalpartners (which include social services and CAHMS).

We are looking for Positive Behaviour Support workerswith strong values and an enthusiastic approach, to support young people and their families.
Do you have the skill set to support young people with a diagnosis of autism, supporting them within the community and achieving positive outcomes. Do you have the skills to support families with Positive Behaviour Support strategies within their family environment.
Are you able to work independently or as part of a team, maintaining and encouraging open and honest lines of communication? Can you undertake the full range of tasks, in a well-planned way that respects and values children and their families?
