Job description

Are you a physically active, friendly, and reliable individual who enjoys getting out and about, connecting with others, and making a real difference?

We are looking for a Male Support Worker (Driver, aged 25+) to support a gentleman living with paranoid schizophrenia. This is a unique, rewarding opportunity to build a meaningful, one-to-one connection while supporting someone to live a full and active life in the community.

About the Role:

  • 15 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
  • At least 1 in 4 weekends, ideally every other weekend
  • Support with community-based activities, outings, and general companionship
  • No personal care involved
  • Must be comfortable around dogs; daily walks with his dog are part of his routine
  • Opportunity for additional hours through our wider care services
Who We’re Looking For:
  • Male, aged 25+ (due to client request and vehicle insurance requirements)
  • A driver with access to a vehicle
  • Energetic and physically active
  • Patient, understanding, and able to build trust
  • Comfortable supporting individuals with complex mental health needs
  • A dog lover

Hourly Rate:
GBP13.00 - GBP14.00 per hour (Weekdays before 5pm)
GBP14.00 - GBP15.00 per hour (Evenings & Weekends)
GBP20.00 per hour (Bank Holidays)
