Brainkind is seeking a Community Support Worker for their supported living service in Cleckheaton, BD19 4TU. The role is 28 hours per week at £13.21 per hour with an additional £1 on Bank Holidays and weekends.

Based in Gomersal, you will join a passionate team delivering compassionate care, personal support, and activity facilitation to help service users achieve personal goals.

We're looking for a Community Support Worker to work as part of an experienced team to deliver an exceptional service at our supported living service in Cleckheaton, BD19 4TU.

Main duties will include

• Establish and maintain professional working relationships with the service users, contributing to the creation of a homely and pleasant living environment for each service user.
• Participate in the development of service user/s support plans, risk assessments and programmes, complete written records as necessary and in accordance with the guidelines provided.
• Providing care and support for our service users when conducting daily tasks
• Provide personal care as and when required
• Creatively support our service users to reach their full potential, achieve their goals and live their best lives
• Accompany service users in activities and visits as and when required

Skills/Experience required

• Previous experience of working within a care/support environment
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
• Good IT skills
• A full UK driving licence and car is advantageous
• Good time management
• Ability to prioritise own workload
• Patience and resilience
• Flexibility and Commitment
