About the role

Eleanor Lodge provides exceptional levels of support to adults, aged 18 and over, with learning disabilities and mental health issues. It is situated in Delapre, Northampton and offers a wonderful living environment for our customers.

As a Community Support Worker, you will act as a key worker for customers, assisting with positive enabling intervention and support for adults with mental health problems, physical and/or learning disabilities.

What will you be doing?
  • Act as key worker to a set number of customers, supporting learning, independent, volunteering, and employment opportunities.
  • Act as the first point of contact with external agencies, providing advice and guidance.
  • Support customers to create, manage and update vocational profiles.
  • Travel flexibly across Northamptonshire.

37 hours per week. Shifts of: 7am-3pm or 8am-3pm with alternate weekends of: 3pm-10pm.

About you
  • Full training will be given.
  • You will either currently have, or be willing to work towards, NVQ level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
  • Full driving license and access to your own vehicle.
  • Self-motivated, personable, and a creative approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and within a team.

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore subject to an enhanced DBS certificate, at our cost.
