The advertised hourly rate includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and/or working conditions of the role.
A market supplement is currently applied to all night and weekend (Saturday and Sunday) shifts, increasing your hourly rate to approximately £16.75 - £17.02. This replaces previous market supplements and applies to both contracted and additional hours within these periods.

Available Hours: Several part-time vacancies from 0 to 34 hours per week, plus Relief contracts for as needed.
Shift patterns can be discussed at interview; shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays.

We seek caring and compassionate individuals to join our Cumbria Care teams in Ulverston & Barrow as Support Workers (Carer, Care Worker, Care Assistant), providing support within Disability and Mental Health Services.
Supported Living empowers vulnerable adults, including those with learning disabilities or complex care needs, to live independently. Staff work with individuals to build life skills, guided by their interests and priorities.
As a Support Worker, you will support individuals' wellbeing through physical and emotional care, assist with medication, personal care, and encourage independence.
No experience or qualifications are required to start. We provide fully paid training and development. If experienced, you can advance your career with us. We offer opportunities to develop your skills and progress.
