Job description

Domestic Assistants support the Trust in delivering a clean and safe environment for both service users and staff. We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Community Domestic.

This is a 10 hour per week vacancy, Monday-Friday. AM Shifts.

The Trust currently supports the Real Living Wage (RLW) hourly rate as set by the Living Wage Federation and will apply a pay supplement if the national A4C hourly rate falls below this.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic Community Domestic Assistant to join our Facilities team. The successful candidate will receive full training and a uniform will be provided.

You will be required to work as part of a team and be flexible within your working approach e.g. cover for annual leave and sickness. Previous experience in a domestic environment would be advantageous, if not training will be provided.

Person Specification

Qualifications

  • General Education
  • Hold or willing to undertake accredited Level 2 award in cleaning

Desirable

  • NVQ Level 2 in Cleaning
  • Food Safety qualification

Knowledge and Expertise

  • Ability to accept and prioritise instructions

Desirable

  • Previous NHS cleaning knowledge would be desirable

Experience

  • Good understanding of cleaning services

Desirable

  • Previous experience in Domestic Services and/or catering
  • Previous experience in dealing with the public
