About the role

As a Community Support Assistant, you will support older community members to live independently and fulfilling lives from their own homes. You will work closely with the at-home care team to understand clients’ individual needs, which may include:

  • Transportation assistance
  • Use of mobility aids and personal equipment
  • Helping clients with activities of daily living
  • Light housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping
About you

You are passionate about caring for older community members and their families, and making a positive difference in their daily lives. You possess clear communication skills to support client engagement and are motivated to help clients achieve their independence goals.

  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or a related field
  • Valid driver’s license
  • First Aid/CPR certification
