Job summary

WithYou is recruiting a permanent Substance Use Nurse for its Shrewsbury service, delivering health and harm reduction interventions and assessing care needs across diverse settings. The role requires current NMC registration and a valid driving licence, with 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

• Current NMC registration and a valid driving licence.
• Post-registration clinical experience in community settings.
• Experience delivering nursing interventions in a community setting.
• Experience with comprehensive assessment of need and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver health, wellbeing and harm reduction interventions in line with the service model.
• Provide high standards of nursing care to people affected by substance use.
• Assess care needs and develop, implement and evaluate care programmes.
• Advocate for service users and identify support needs across physical, psychological, spiritual and social domains.
• Work flexibly across a variety of settings.
• Promote health and wellbeing in a safe, therapeutic environment.
