NHS National Services Scotland is seeking a Community Staff Nurse to join the Inverclyde HSCP team. This permanent, full-time position involves promoting health and wellbeing among children and young people, collaborating with various agencies, and managing delegated tasks. Ideal candidates will have a nursing degree, strong communication skills, and a commitment to further training.

This is a permanent, full-time post of 37 hours per week, with a shift pattern from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
The School Nursing team partners with children, young people, and their carers to promote physical and emotional health and wellbeing, supporting them to reach their full potential. The team collaborates with multi-agency partners such as Social Work, Education, Police, and Third Sector organizations to identify and address health and wellbeing needs based on the Principles of Getting it Right for Every Child (GIRFEC).
Inverclyde HSCP seeks an enthusiastic and motivated Community Staff Nurse to join their team. Essential skills include a strong understanding of child protection systems, excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as IT proficiency. The post involves leadership responsibilities within the team and managing your workload delegated by the school nurse.
