We welcome applications from those who currently hold a UK NMC registration. If you currently hold an overseas nursing qualification and require sponsorship we are NOT currently direct hiring Internationally Qualified Nurses.

An opportunity is now available to join theBexhill District Nursing Team.

We have busy and varied caseloads, and you will be visiting housebound patients in their own home. You will be well supported in Practice to enable you to develop a large range of clinical knowledge and skills. Good communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work alone as well as part of a team. You must be able to travel independently in a timely manner.

Overview

Community care in East Sussex is based around Primary Care Network (PCN) teams. These provide integrated multi-disciplinary services, supporting individualised patient care and the needs of the local population.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver Nursing Care as part of a team. Support the District Nurse in the delivery of an efficient/effective nursing service. Responsible for assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of care whilst working autonomously as a lone worker.
  • Travel throughout the locality in a timely manner, carrying equipment and staff as needed.
Requirements
  • Current UK NMC registration (overseas qualifications requiring sponsorship are not supported at this time).
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have access to a car and hold a current driving licence.
