Job overview

Join the Ulverston District Nurses as a registered nurse in a supportive team dedicated to high standards of person-centered care in Dalton and surrounding villages.

Part-time 22.5 hours/week over 3 days, including weekends, bank holidays, evenings, and potential nights, working within the Furness out of hours team across a 7-day, 365-day schedule.

Main duties of the job

Provide evidence-based, holistic nursing care as a registered nurse within Community Services, support team leadership, supervise staff, and delegate tasks based on skills.

The team comprises full and part-time nurses and healthcare support workers, managed by the Assistant Team Leads and supported by the Team Lead.

Working for our organisation

Operate from three main hospitals—Furness General Hospital, Royal Lancaster Infirmary, and Westmorland General Hospital—and various community healthcare premises including Millom Hospital, Queen Victoria Hospital, and Ulverston Community Health Centre.
