A local healthcare organization is seeking Registered Nurses for community nursing teams in North Durham. Job summary
We are currently seeking Registered Nurses to join our Community Nursing teams in the North Durham area covering the Durham and Derwentside localities. The teams provide a service between the hours of 8am and 9pm 7 days a week on a duty roster. The role involves providing holistic nursing care to adult patients in their own home or residential care setting. Successful applicants will be required to hold a first level nursing registration with the NMC, additional training specific to the role can be provided
Main duties of the jobThe Community nursing team provide both planned and reactive care including Urgent Community Response

We provide hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.
