At Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust, we believe in providing exceptional care that goes beyond the ordinary, and we need someone like you to help us achieve that vision.

When you join us, we will work with you to develop your own personal developmental plan that supports your learning style. We provide training, clinical supervision, and access to a peer support network.

We also offer opportunities for career progression to develop your clinical, leadership, and preceptorship skills.

The Neighbourhood Night Service operates from 20:45 to 07:15, seven days per week.

We strongly recommend getting in touch to discuss the role further.

Main duties of the job

You will be a registered staff nurse with excellent assessment, planning, and evaluation skills to ensure timely and appropriate patient care.

You will work closely with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes.

Your responsibilities include monitoring patients, administering medications, coordinating care plans, and supporting families and carers overnight during crisis situations such as blocked catheters and palliative care.

This is a fast-paced role requiring safe and effective clinical decision-making. You must be able to think on your feet, solve problems that arise overnight, and manage conflicting priorities. The ability to motivate others in challenging times and utilize available resources effectively is essential.

Please see the attached document for the full Job Description.

You must hold a full driving license and have access to a vehicle suitable for work purposes.

Please note that we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
