A regional healthcare provider in Doddington is seeking registered nurses to join the Out of Hours Community Nursing Team. Overview

The Out of Hours Community Nursing Team across Cambridgeshire is currently offering opportunities for permanent contracts working full time and part time within CPFT across the county working in Cambridge, Huntingdon, Peterborough.

We provide a service 7 days a week, working closely with other community services and PCN’s to provide high standard holistic care to the population of Cambridgeshire.

Shift Patterns
  • Twilight Shift 18:00-24:00
  • Night shift 21:45-08:15
Travel & Vehicle

Please note for this role you will be required to travel independently around the county meeting strict time deadlines. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence and have use of a vehicle. You cannot use public transport for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Work as an autonomous practitioner within the out of hours countywide team.
  • Provide high standard of nursing care and interventions within the patient’s own home, with support from team leaders.
  • Ensure patient and carer participation in decision making.
  • Accountable for assessing, interpreting, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment to patients within professional guidelines.
  • Identify patient needs through holistic nursing.
  • Provide support and education to peers, new staff and students.
