The Royal Borough of Greenwich is seeking a proactive Sport Development Officer to lead and coordinate sport, physical activity programmes and projects across the borough, working with schools, clubs and health partners to boost participation and health outcomes.

You will monitor delivery, manage funded projects and budgets, report on impact and help develop volunteers, coaches and community leaders, contributing to health and wellbeing strategies across the borough.

Qualificações

• Experience delivering sport, leisure, health or community programmes and projects.
• Strong partnership-building and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience working with diverse communities and engaging underrepresented groups.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• A relevant degree, professional qualification or equivalent experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate sport and physical activity programmes, projects and events across the borough.
• Develop opportunities that increase participation among inactive and underrepresented groups.
• Build strong partnerships with schools, community organisations, sports clubs and health partners.
• Manage funded projects, budgets and grant applications. Monitor, evaluate and report on programme performance and impact.
• Support the development of volunteers, coaches, apprentices and community leaders.
• Contribute to borough-wide strategies that improve health, wellbeing and community outcomes.
