Job Description

The post holder will be the Team Manager responsible for the Case Management Service supporting complex cases, reviews, unpaid carers, and respite for older people and adults with impairments.

They will support the Service Manager in the strategic management of the service and will take responsibility for a specialist social work area, attending meetings and providing expert input as needed.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Social Work qualification
  • SCW registration
  • Evidence of Continuous Professional Development
  • Understanding of Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Safeguarding Procedures
  • Experience supervising social work staff or mentoring colleagues
  • Minimum of 3 years post-qualifying experience in social services
  • Experience in complex case management and safeguarding issues
  • Knowledge of Mental Capacity practice
