Overview

JustOT are recruiting for an HCPC registered experienced Occupational Therapist Assistant to work with our well-respected client based in London.

• Location: London
• Rate: £23.71 per hour depending on experience
• Contract Type: Temporary
• Essential Requirements: HCPC registered; minimum 3 years social care experience as an OT
• Working Hours: Full time post

Responsibilities

• Contact and assess residents who are waiting for a triage, OT assessment or equipment to make their property accessible.
• Work with families of children, older people and adults with a disability or long-term health condition to support their independence through the provision of equipment and adaptations.
• Carry out standard OT Assistant duties (visits and assessments).
• Pick up/collect small equipment (e.g. bath boards, toilet frames, commodes) from the local equipment store, deliver, install items and demonstrate safe use.

• Car driver would be preferable. However, not essential as practitioners can submit expense claims for taxis to deliver.
